Challenge Overview

A company's Italian card business was in a very poor state of health with high cardholder dissatisfaction. This was driven by the limited number of merchants who were prepared to accept the card and, more importantly, by widespread resistance to card acceptance by the merchants who appeared to offer the card facility, yet would in reality suppress the card at the POS and suggest /request that the card holder use a different form of payment.
