| Challenge Overview |
A TV Shopping Channel was the acquisition target
for a diversified Retailer serving 15 European Countries. The
infrastructure supporting the marketing activity was extremely
complex and managed by a series of interlinked contractors and
sub-contractors across Europe.
The price of acquisition and future profitability were inextricably
linked to the cost and performance of the Operations division
of the target business and our brief was to produce, in three
weeks, an evaluation of the existing Operations division and a
fully costed strategy for an upgraded alternative. This was to
include a strategy for technology development.
There was a further requirement to proof the certainty in delivery,
with timescales to ensure synchronisation with the commercial
development of the acquisition.
